Thank you for choosing Unzip Air. We (“we”, “our”, or “us”) are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use the Unzip Air application for macOS.
Unzip Air is designed to be a privacy-first local utility.
Local Processing: All file extractions, compressions, and QuickLook previews are processed entirely locally on your Mac.
No Cloud Uploads: We do not upload your files, archive contents, or personal data to any external servers.
App Permissions: The app requires access to files you explicitly select (or drag and drop) solely for the purpose of extracting or compressing them. We do not have full disk access.
Analytics and Tracking We do not use any third-party tracking frameworks or analytics SDKs (such as Google Analytics or Mixpanel) in Unzip Air. We only have access to standard, anonymized crash reports and app usage metrics provided directly by Apple (if you have opted-in to share these with developers via your macOS settings).
In-App Purchases and Payments Unzip Air offers a “Pro” version via a one-time, lifetime purchase. All payments and transactions are handled securely by Apple via the Mac App Store (StoreKit).
No Subscriptions: We do not offer any auto-renewing subscriptions or recurring fees.
Payment Security: We do not collect, process, or have access to your credit card information, billing address, or Apple ID. Your purchase history is managed entirely by Apple.
Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the “Effective Date” at the top of this policy.
