FlexiShot (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the FlexiShot macOS application.
1. Data Collection and Usage
We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data, screenshots, or screen recordings to our own servers.
- Screenshots & Recordings: All images and videos captured by FlexiShot are processed locally on your Mac and saved only to the location you specify.
- OCR (Optical Character Recognition): OCR processing is performed entirely on-device using macOS native frameworks. No image data is sent to the cloud for text recognition.
- Translation: If you use the translation feature, the text content (not the image) is sent to the service provider you selected (e.g., Google or Baidu) to fulfill your request. This is subject to their respective privacy policies.
2. Apple Sandbox & Permissions
FlexiShot operates within the Apple App Sandbox environment. We only access the screen, microphone, or folders that you explicitly grant permission for.
3. Third-Party Services
- RevenueCat / App Store: We use standard Apple in-app purchase systems to manage Pro subscriptions. Your payment information is handled exclusively by Apple.
- Crash Reporting: We may use anonymous crash logs provided by Apple (if you have opted-in) to improve app stability.
