Privacy Policy for Chuckle Mate Effective Date: April 15, 2026

Chuckle Mate (the “App”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data within the App.

1. Camera and Face Tracking Data Chuckle Mate uses the TrueDepth camera and ARKit (Face Tracking) technology to detect your facial expressions and calculate your “Giggle Level” score.

On-Device Processing Only: All facial mapping and expression analysis are performed locally and in real-time on your device.

No Data Storage: We do not store, save, or record any facial data. Once the AR session ends or the App is closed, all temporary face tracking data is instantly discarded.

No Third-Party Sharing: Facial data is never uploaded to any servers or shared with third parties.

1. Photo Library Access When you choose to save a captured photo, the App requests access to your Photo Library. The App only writes the specific image you selected to your album; it does not read or access your other photos.

2. Data Collection Chuckle Mate does not collect any personally identifiable information (PII), such as your name, email address, or location.

3. Changes to This Policy We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
